Mehrauli, Delhi
An archaeological park spread across roughly 200 acres in Mehrauli, containing the ruins of several dynasties spanning over a thousand years, from the early Delhi Sultanate to the late Mughal period. Structures include the tomb of Balban, the Jamali Kamali mosque and tomb, and remnants of Rajon ki Baoli step-well. Unlike single-monument sites, the park offers a rare walk through layered centuries of Delhi's urban history in one green space. Entry is free and the park is especially popular at sunset.
