Kumara Krupa Road, Bengaluru
An art institution and gallery founded in 1960 by artist Venkatappa's associates, dedicated to promoting traditional and contemporary visual arts in Karnataka. Its complex includes exhibition galleries, an art history museum, and Asia's largest collection of miniature paintings from Rajasthan, Mysore and the Deccan schools. The institution also runs a college of fine arts, making it both a public gallery and an active arts training centre. It remains one of Bengaluru's primary venues for contemporary Indian art exhibitions.
