A public lakeside precinct in central Bengaluru built around Ulsoor Lake, one of the city's oldest and largest lakes, believed to have been constructed under Kempe Gowda in the 16th century and later expanded by the British. The lake and its surrounding gardens have long served as a recreational green space for the city. Boating facilities and a small island temple add to its appeal as a public heritage precinct. It remains a popular spot for evening walks and birdwatching.

Did you know? Ulsoor Lake, one of Bengaluru's oldest and largest lakes, was originally built during the reign of Kempe Gowda in the 16th century and today spans over 50 hectares with several small islands.
